Jakarta XML Web Services 4.0 (under development)

Jakarta XML Web Services defines a means for implementing XML-Based Web Services based on Jakarta SOAP with Attachments and Jakarta Web Services Metadata.

The goal of this release is to:

  • provide features requested by the community
  • adopt changes from other specification included in Jakarta EE 10
  • consider folding Jakarta Web Services Metadata and Jakarta SOAP w/Attachments into this (master) Specification
  • (major release due to changes in Jakarta XML Binding)

The JDK version required will be aligned with Jakarta EE 10.
